Customer Care
Provide support and help customers decide upon the level of service they require and make the appropriate arrangements. We will treat all customer needs with a sense of urgency, understanding and integrity which is our fundamental operating principle.
Pet Collection
We collect personally so there are NO mix ups. We usually collect within 4 hours if local (this negates the need for a cold storage process at you vets). Collection costs from your home or Vet are calculated as follows: £1.50 per mile from our Premises in Whitburn, West Lothian, EH47 0LQ. (Charged one way) Collection out of hours incur additional charge, please ask. We offer a prompt collection service within West Lothian, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Fife, Falkirk & Stirling areas and out with these areas our collection times will vary but we Guarantee to collect the same or next day you call us.
Should your pet pass away at your veterinary practice you can call us or have your vet call us to have your pet collected. PLEASE be aware that your vet may have other arrangements in place for the disposal of animals or to provide a service, so please ensure you make your wishes clear to them by asking for iCare Pet Crem to collect and provide this personal caring service and they will be happy to support your wishes at this sad time.
Bringing your pet to us
If you would like to bring your pet to us please call first to book a time that works for us both as we want to make sure we can look after you from the minute you arrive. Our premises are located in Whitburn just 2 minutes from M8 junction 4A Heartlands. We are also often called away and at times the office is closed throughout the day so please remember to call first to let us know your plans.
Cremation Service
Individual cremation to take place at our premises. The ashes will be returned in one of our carefully selected Biodegradable scatter tubes which are suitable for burial or a casket of your choice from our range. We can return your pet's ashes to your vet, home or you can collect from our premises.
Ashes are ready for collection/delivery within a couple of working days. We have an ever expanding range of memorials and caskets which can be engraved by us according to your wishes. We guarantee the safe return of your pet's ashes as we only perform individual cremation services.
Private Pet Euthanasia at home
We are available to help you with home euthanasia for your pet. This can be inside your home or in the Garden. We work with 7 different vets from Glasgow to Edinburgh and in between. Please call us to discuss and we can make all the arrangements for you.

Your Pets Ashes transferred
You are able to order any of our products even if your Pet has not been cremated at iCare Pet Crem.
iCare Pet Crem also offers a unique service to transfer previously cremated Pet's ashes into one of our products, please call us for more details.
Pet Bereavement Support
The Blue Cross for Pet Loss and Bereavement
Trained volunteers in pet bereavement counselling. Support is provided by trained volunteers. The service does not offer a counselling service but is able to offer emotional support and information for pet owners who may be experiencing the loss of a pet.

The APLB is unique, and the only organization in the world doing all this. Our services are free and available to anyone bereaving for a beloved pet. We pride ourselves in incorporating the collective wisdom and experience of all our friends and members. And we make that freely available to anyone who can use it, during deep bereavement for a beloved pet.
