THE world's oldest cat has died three months before his 30th birthday at home in Lanarkshire May 2011. Ginger tom Charlie passed away at home in Coulter, Lanarkshire. Devastated owner Sina Graham, 54, said: "I will miss him terribly." iCare Pet Crem owner Alex Baxter said "all Pets are very special but Charlie was unique and it was a privelege and honour to have been selected to provide a personal caring service for both Charlie and Sina.

Dear Alex,

I have to admit that I felt a bit uneasy registering my dog, Tyler, with iCare - like I was tempting fate. However, when that dreaded day finally dawned, it was a godsend to know that I only had to pick up the phone and everything was in order with no difficult decisions to be made. When you arrived to collect Tyler I was given all the time I needed to finally surrender his body into the hands of another (remember the snowdrop?). You were truely caring and empathetic and I knew that my gorgeous, special boy would be treated with the respect he deserved. Then there are the added little touches that were so unexpected, but made all the difference and said "I care". I cannot fault the service you provide and have recommended you to friends and family. Well what can I say !!!

Impeccable service and a friendly no nonsense approach which took so much pressure of my wife and I when we lost our 10 month old kitten Max at the weekend.

Alex took care of everything and looked after Max like one of his own, and gave him back to us the next day in a beautiful form that we can treasure for ever.
